Getting Ready for Christmas

I thought I'd share some of the prep work in preparing our home and hearts for Christmas this year. Somehow I managed to not get a final picture of our decorated tree, but at least there are some "in progress" pics.

Wooden Nativity set Nana gave us last year. The kids absolutely love playing with Nativity sets.

Nathan and the kids getting the tree and trimmings down from the attic.

Ben standing and wondering why this tree is coming out of a box...allergies, dear.
Lucy helping.

Lucy with part of our wooden Nativity set shown above, and a felt Nativity scene. The girl likes for us to take pictures of her.

Lucy and Jackie Lee. She apparently dressed herself, but not JL. They are showing the work of an over-zealous, white light loving Daddy. He ended up taking them all off to redo the lights.
And even though we didn't get a picture of our tree from this year, it looked the same as last year. Like last year, we used the tree as a tool to teach the kids about the coming of the Messiah and the Gospel. Amazingly, Lucy remembered everything from last year. It is exciting to see how the Lord is already working in her little heart.

We hope that you all have a blessed Christmas season, and joined with the Shepherds in worshiping our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Actual pictures from our FIVE Christmas celebrations will hopefully be up this week. Hopefully. I make no promises.
