Two Sundays ago we had a missionary family from Uganda visiting at church. Shannon Hurley, the founder of Sufficiency of Scripture (SOS) Ministries, preached Sunday night a sermon that he preached at the last pastors' conference SOS held in Uganda. Our pastor, Dan, was there to help with the conference and asked Shannon to share this same message with our church when he came to town.
I'd like to encourage others to listen to Shannon's sermon. It was definitely one of those sermons that will stick with me for a very long time. His sermon is from Luke 10:38-42. You can listen to his sermon here.
"All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work." ~ 2 Timothy 3:16-17
